Rules:
- All games will be played on 5v5 Summoner’s Rift following standard tournament draft.
- All matches will be played til completion where victory is achieved by surrender of destruction of the enemy’s nexus.
- The tournament matches will be best of one following a single elimination format.
- The tournament will officially start at 12:00 pm on July 19th, if there are still more matches to be played it will continue on from 12:00pm Sunday until 11:00pm
Sunday. If there is not enough time for all matches to be played the prize pot will be split amongst the remaining teams. - The order for the brackets will be decided randomly.
- There will be a maximum of 8 teams allowed in the tournament.
- All matches shall be played on the NA League of Legends Server.
- Once the tournament has been started, there can be no roster changes. All roster change should be affirmed with the tournament official.
- There is a maximum of 5 players with one substitute allowed per team. A team must have 5 players to compete. Each player must already have a preexisting League of Legends account. There is no level requirement. ALL team members MUST have a Gamerholic.com account and all teams MUST be registered in order to participate in the tournament.
- Additional players, not registered on a team are allowed to “ring” only if allowed by the other team. Otherwise the team with less than 5 players must forfeit the match.
- Teams with offensive team names will not be allowed to play unless the name is changed.
- Players are not allowed to play for more than one team and a team is not allowed to register more than once.
- All players are expected to be respectful in and out of matches. Offensive and unsportsmanlike conduct will result in a disqualification of the team committing the offense.
- The draft mode used will be the ingame draft mode.
- Pauses are allowed for up to 10 minutes if there is a result of equipment failure. If a tournament official deems a pause is not warranted the game shall proceed straight away unpaused.
- There shall be a brief 10 minute break between matches to allow set up for the next match and as a break for the players.
- Cheating of any game is not tolerated and will result in an automatic disqualification.
- There shall be no remakes allowed unless one is requested due to equipment failure and (1) the 5 minute mark has not been reached on the timer and (2) first blood has not been achieved
- There shall be a monetary prize provided to the winning team in the form of Bitcoin. The bitcoin will be sent to the team captain to distribute as they see fit. All team captains should have a bitcoin wallet set up to facilitate the process of receiving their winnings.
- There is no second place prize reward.
- All rules are subject to change at the discretion of the tournament officials. All care will be taken to provide a fun and fair playing field to all teams and to expedite the tournament proceedings. The officials ruling is the final outcome to all decisions.
